IXCHEL LÓPEZ

Ixchel López is a Honolulu-based actor, writer, director, and producer. She can be seen as Nurse Therese in Hawaii Five-0 and as forensic tech Leti Reyes in the final season of Magnum P.I., where she was directed by the show's star, Jay Hernandez, in his directorial debut. She is also a spokesperson for Niu Health, where she filmed a series of comedic commercials and PSAs, getting a chance to flex her comedy, hosting, and improv background! In 2025, she founded Olomana Film Productions to uplift Hawaii’s creatives and create more storytelling opportunities. Her comedy short, Character Breakdown, is currently in post-production and will release in October 2025!

Onstage, Ixchel originated the role of Marie in the world premiere of Hello! My Baby at the Rubicon Theatre, where she shared the stage with George Wendt of Cheers. She is a producer, writer, and director for the Hawaii Comedy Festival, an annual two-night event featuring local sketches, improv, stand-up, and original musicals. When she isn’t working creatively, she’s hanging out with her rescue animals and trying to solve the latest episode of Unsolved Mysteries.
